A keyword is generally a word or group of words (phrase) that an Internet user enters to search for information in a search engine or to search for a product or content on a commercial or editorial website.
If an Internet user enters the query "blue car" in a search engine, the phrase "blue car" is considered a keyword.
On SeoLabs the "Keywords" column is a simple count all of the sites Google top 100 ranked keywords, for example "Politico.com" has per our data 1 500 603 ranked keywords (quite impressive !)
